Roadmap for
Improving Sibling Relationships
HOW THINGS ARE NOW
*Your kids compete and argue over EVERYTHING
*You can’t do anything (or go anywhere) without the kids fighting
*Whenever you’re with more than one child, you’re spending most of your time feeling like a referee

HOW YOU WANT THINGS TO BE
*Your kids can play together without everything turning into an argument or competition.
*Car rides, fun activities, and vacations are not ruined by the constant arguments
*Your know that your kids have each other’s backs… even when you’re not around to remind them.

If things are not consistently the way you want them to be…
ask yourself these questions and use these tools for long-term change:
1. Do your kids know how to handle boredom? Do they
know how solve problems?
2. Do each of your kids know how to handle Yuck /
discomfort effectively?
3. Do any of your children have low Emotional Needs
Accounts?
If so, use these tools:
Identify which Emotional Needs Accounts are low
Make a plan for consistent deposits
4. Do you have an effective plan for handling their
behavior in the moment?
