I Know You Love Your Child.

We’ve all seen those Instagram moms with perfectly behaved kids, and we know that’s not a typical day in the life. But what if you also don’t have to live with a child whose drama affects everyone and everything in your home?

Maybe you can relate to situations like…

Your child goes from 0 to 60...

…when something happens that they don’t expect or enjoy (and sometimes they go from 0 to 60 for what seems like no reason at all!)

You've had to leave stores or friend's houses...

…because of your child’s (mortifying) behavior. And sometimes you cancel your family plans altogether because you’re worried about how your child is going to act.

You've spent countless nights worrying about them...

…wondering how their big responses and big emotions will affect their future friendships and relationships, or how your child will handle the fact that life isn’t always going to go their way.

You Can Teach Your Child How To Handle It When Things Don’t Go Their Way

It is possible to ask them to do something (like clean their room or do homework) without all of the DRAMA.

And you can…

Stop walking on eggshells whenever you notice that they’re in a “mood”

Hear positive responses instead of complaints when you ask to take them to new places or try new things

Go through a day without their emotions impacting everyone in the family

Know exactly how to respond when your child isn’t handling things well

Have more time and energy because you didn’t spend all of it managing their emotions

I’m Rachel Bailey, a Parenting Specialist (and former therapist) who’s been supporting families for over a decade.

Although I have a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and have served many roles in the field of psychology (ADHD Coach, Academic Coach, in-home mentor, psychotherapist), my passion has always been helping families reduce the drama in their homes.

That’s because not only have I helped hundreds of parents of foster resilience in their dramatic, sensitive, kids … but I’m also raising a highly emotional (anxious, sensitive) child myself. I know what it’s like to not only feel exhausted worrying about and managing their responses on a daily basis… but also to spend much mental energy worrying about their future and whether they’ll be able to handle life.

I also know that the way we naturally respond to their big emotions and try to foster resilience… doesn’t work. And I know what to do differently. And if I know that if I didn’t have these tools, things would be much worse.

I want to share the strategies that have made such a big difference not only in my home, but in the homes of all of the families I’ve supported over the years.

Introducing: The Long Game Formula for Raising Resilient Kids

THIS CLASS WAS Created from 10 years of experience working with parents who needed a new and different solution (that lasts!) to reduce drama in their homes.

I know that what you’ve tried — getting upset, using logic, ignoring the drama — hasn’t worked. Or at least not in the long run.

Within the first 10 minutes of this class, you’ll find out why these strategies fail… and then you’ll learn a step-by-step process (including what to say and do!) to reduce the negativity, drama, and reactivity in your home AND  increase the peace so you can actually enjoy time with your children.

But… this class is not just about the strategies.

It’s also about how you learn these strategies.

This isn’t another typical training where you sit and listen to new ideas but don’t implement them and don’t see the long-term positive change that you’re craving.

In this unique class, I share strategies in a way that allows you to TRULY experience a shift in how you think about and respond to your child’s behavior — using hands-on exercises to help you get into your child’s shoes so that responding to them in a new way becomes natural and intuitive.

It’s time that you finally experience some peace of mind. It’s time to go from feeling helpless, depleted, and concerned… to feeling confident and in control.

A 6-Week Experiential Class To Transform Your Home

BY THE END OF THE CLASS YOU’ll enjoy your time with your children… because they’re not responding negatively and dramatically at every little thing.

For 6 weeks I will guide you through my proven process and teach you how to…

Respond to your child — exactly what to say and do — when they’re in the middle of a big emotion or big behavior.

Teach your child the coping skills they need to handle the inevitable situations that don’t go the way they expected.

Improve their overall resilience so that they simply don’t have  such negative, impulsive reactions to begin with.

Tackle your own obstacles so that you don’t get sucked into their drama.

Incorporate the strategies into your (busy!) life and finally see results that last.

This program is structured so that you can effectively reduce the fighting, worrying, and exhaustion for good.

Are you ready to learn how to deal with the big emotions and help your child learn to be more flexible and positive — to be able to handle things like frustration, disappointment, changing plans, requests, and new situations — now and in the future?

Here’s What We’ll Cover Over 6 Weeks

Week 1 - Handling The Drama Now

You’ll learn about exactly how to respond to your child’s meltdowns, negativity, and irrational behavior. You can stop ignoring or trying to explain to your child why they shouldn’t be upset (or how they’re never going to be able to survive in life)… and do this instead.

HANDS-ON EXERCISE: Get into your child’s shoes and explore what they’re experiencing

Week 2 - Teaching Your Child To Cope

We’ll discuss how to teach your child to calm themselves down when they experience their big feelings. This is NOT just about deep breathing or telling them to count to 10! You’ll learn why many strategies you’ve tried don’t work and what you can do instead so that kids actually use these tools — even when you’re not around.

HANDS-ON EXERCISE: Recognize why past coping strategies that your child has tried haven’t worked

Week 3 - Reducing Yuck

I’ll teach you what fosters true long-term resilience in kids. (Hint: It’s not JUST having them face difficult things and teaching coping skills.) When you know this strategy, you’ll worry so much less about your kids’ ability to be successful in life.

HANDS-ON EXERCISE: Calculate the impact of the withdrawals and deposits in your child’s life and how you can use that to build their resilence and self-esteem

Week 4 - Stop Getting Sucked In

This lesson will focus on the obstacles that have prevented you from being successful in handling your kids’ tantrums in the past. You’ll learn how to stop getting triggered by your kids’ emotions so that you can stop regretting how you respond (and worrying that you’re messing up your child or your relationship with them).

HANDS-ON EXERCISE: Notice (and change) the stories that make it difficult to stay in control of your own emotions when your child is being dramatic

Week 5 - The Past & The Future

We’ll consider what you learned from your own life experiences that have led to the reactions you have. When you start to realize what’s holding you back, you will start to see so many more positive results in the future. By considering these factors, you’re changing not only your future — but the future of your children and their relationships!

HANDS-ON EXERCISE: Create your “Parenting Avatar” that will, under any circumstance, allow you to be the parent you want to be

Week 6 - Final Practice

In this final lesson, we’ll make sure that all of your questions have been answered and that you can (and will) apply your tools to any situation you face going forward. We’ll solidify all of the skills you have learned to this point so that you feel calm, confident, and in control… no matter what your sensitive child throws your way

HANDS-ON: Apply your tools and dissect a scenario like a pro!

Since we’ve taken Rachel’s class, it is so much calmer in our home now. And it’s not just because my son knows how to handle things better… The whole family knows how to handle them better too.

The meltdowns in our house were happening all the time. We felt like they controlled our lives. Now we know how to prevent them… and how to deal with the (few) that happen from time to time. I can’t tell you how much of a relief that is!

Is “The Long Game Formula for Raising Resilient Kids” Program Right For You?

    • Understand not just how to “fix” your child, but what causes their behavior to begin with so you know how to handle anything that you face
    • Feel more in control rather than riding your child’s emotional roller coaster
    • Know how to handle your child’s sensitivity in a way that improves your relationship rather than damaging it
    • Learn exactly what to say and do to foster a better attitude and more long-term resilience in your child… while still supporting who they are (and their super-sweet side!)

    • Wants a quick fix and easy solutions that make everything just go away
    • Is not willing to understand your role in the emotional dynamics in the home
    • Is not willing to invest in long-lasting, positive change

What is the time commitment for this class?

I know you’re busy. Every single activity was created specifically with the goal of saving you time and energy by teaching you how to create a more positive dynamic in your home.
Realistically, your commitment for the 6 weeks of the class is about 2 hours per week over a few different interactive activities.
Each week you will:

  • Receive a 20-minute (or so) video lesson + note-taking workbook
  • Participate in a 60-minute live class (or watch the reply if necessary… but honestly, I’m told by other parents that participating in the class was what changed EVERYTHING for them!)
  • Be assigned homework that takes about 15 minutes to complete.
What if I don't finish all the materials in the 6 weeks?
While the class was created so that most of the transformation happens “live,” you will have access to the resources and replays forever. That means you can complete it in your own time and refer back to it whenever needed.
What's included with my class investment?

For $750, you receive resources and support that is worth $1800

  • 6 video lessons + interactive worksheets
  • 6 60-minute live sessions and replays
  • 5 homework assignments (with individual, private feedback provided if handed in by a certain time)
  • The ability to ask questions and communicate with other parents at any time in a private Facebook group
What if I can't join the live calls?
Of course things come up in life! While I highly encourage you to make as many of the live sessions as possible, you will always have access to the replays of any session that you may have to miss. You’ll have lifetime access to all materials.
What if I don't want to be part of a group?

It’s not uncommon for people to initially feel hesitant about joining a group. However, once parents join a group they understand the tremendous benefit. And after having helped over 1,000 families, again and again I see more progress with people who join a group rather than receiving individual support. Here’s why:

  • You receive the same step-by-step process you need to reduce the drama in your home.
  • You feel less alone. You realize, with relief, that others are struggling with the same problems you are.
  • You can be open and honest about what parenting is really like. In the classes I teach, I am honest about my imperfections… which often motivates others to be genuine as well. And hearing that others don’t live the “Facebook/Instagram life” — where families are happy and smiling all the time — can, in itself, help reduce our stress.
  • You learn from others. Although I have lots of tips to offer, other parents also add value with suggestions for what has worked for them

What if now's not a good time? Can I join this class later?

I will likely be offering this class again in late 2020 (though the price will probably be increasing).
However, I encourage you to consider joining now because kids’ big emotions don’t tend to decrease on their own. Relationships — and kids’ self-esteem — can also deteriorate the longer that these issues are not addressed properly. Working on these issues does ultimately SAVE you time… remember too that you’ll have access to this information forever and can implement it as you are able.

Imagine If Two Months From Now…

You also know how offer your child advice or a correction without worrying about causing a meltdown.

You can participate in activities and tasks that without fear of embarrassing scenes with your child

You the simple actions you can take to help them respond more positively when things don’t go their way…even as they get older and obstacles become bigger!

You feel less depleted because you don’t spend as much much time or energy managing the negativity in your home.

Honestly, I never would have imagined being able to the things I’m able to do with my kids now … and with barely any resistance and no tantrums. It’s really life-changing!

dad of 3

Instead of dreading time with my kids, I (mostly!) look forward to it now. Because I know how to respond to pretty much anything that happens, so I feel more in control… and so does my daughter.
