Tool for Long-Term Change:

How To Enforce Your Rules Consistently

 1. Identify the rule(s) you’d like to enforce.

2. Decide ahead of time what you’ll do if your kids don’t follow those rules.

3. Let your kids know how you’ll respond if they don’t follow the rules.

4. When they don’t listen, immediately do what you said what you’re going to do.
Let them “travel the curve” if necessary.
