How to Stay Calm
1. Notice your body’s signals that you are about to lose your cool.
2. Focus on “tuning in” (to yourself) instead of “tuning out” (to what’s going on around you).
3. Do a Yuck Release Strategy.
4. Recognize what you want to do next. If you want to support and help your child, you are likely calm and in control.
