This 3-part training program was created to help you

  • clear the clutter in your mind and on your calendar
  • find the time and energy to be the parent you want to be

Every third Friday of the month, I'll be available to answer your "Overcoming Overwhelm" questions LIVE from 12:30-1:00PM EST.

Feel free to join me in the RBPA Meeting Room at that time: https://zoom.us/j/501286488.

Hi Rachel,

You mentioned in one of the trainings that you have a video on using Trello and google calendar for the brain dump and scheduling of activities. I'd love to watch that, can you provide a link?

Thanks,

Emily

Emily,

I recently asked Rachel the same question, and she responded to me in an email.... Rachel, I really appreciate you taking the time to send this response and I hope it is okay that I am passing the information on to Emily (and anyone else that can read the forums)

Jen

I actually had a video on this but something happened to it and now it's not working. 🙁  I'll plan to do another one for sure, but in the meantime, here's the gist:
The process for using Trello / Google is the same. You are:
  • Doing a dump of tasks
  • Creating tasks blocks
  • Creating a Master Schedule that includes task blocks, planning time, and your Alignment activities
  • Each week, recording that week's tasks into your tasks blocks sheet.
  • Putting that week's tasks into your calendar.

(Let me know if you have questions about any of that.)

Here's where Google / Trello come in:

@w84jen Thanks for posting!

@emjaywright Yes, the video I originally created isn't working correctly.

AND - I'm thinking of improving the "Overcoming Overwhelm" program. In my new version, I'll definitely have that training on video.

In the meantime, please do see the post above.... and reach out if you have any questions about it! I'd be happy to walk through it with you.
